We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at Shady Grove a great one!
SERVICE TIMES
Shady Grove General Baptist Church meets every Sunday morning and Wednesday night.
Sunday School Groups: Sundays at 9:30am
Morning Worship Service: Sundays at 10:30am
Grove Kids: Sunday Mornings at 10:30am & Sunday nights at 4:00pm
Bible Study: Wednesday nights at 6:00pm

Shady Grove General Baptist Church is located in Poole, Kentucky.
How long is a typical church service?
In total, a service here is about 60 minutes in length. Service begins with a few announcements of things going on in the church and community. Then, our worship leader will lead the church in hymns and contemporary music. Song lyrics are projected onto the screens so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. After the music portion of service is complete, our pastor will come out to share a challenging and encouraging message about Jesus.
What’s the culture like at Shady Grove?
Sundays at Shady Grove are exciting, casual, and relaxed. We are a community and a family that believes you are like family too. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our valued guest. Feel free to wear causal clothes or your “Sunday best.”
What about my kids?
On Sunday mornings, Grove Kids meets in the Annex for games, worship, and an age-appropriate lesson. Drop them off at the Annex and our amazing volunteers will teach them about Jesus in a way that is relevant to their age! If your kid(s) would like to stay with you, no worries! We welcome kids into the sanctuary to join us in worship if they prefer to stay with you. Grove Kids is offered every Sunday morning at 10:30am for ages 4 - 4th grade. We have a nursery room available for all parents who may need it. Our livestream is broadcast to the nursery so you don’t miss a thing.
We believe that kids should have a blast at church every single week, so we also have a special worship service for them on Sunday nights. Grove Kids Evening Service is on Sunday nights from 4-6pm for kids ages 4 through 15 during the calendar school year.
We make your children’s safety a priority. Because of that, we have a detailed check-in process for our Grove Kids program the first time that you visit. You’ll want to give yourself an extra ten minutes to get signed in for the Grove Kids experience.
